At sufficient inlet and outlet pressure difference a vacuum is created due to the high kinetic energy of the water flow, and air (or ozone) is sucked in through the air channel. Mazzei injectors are very efficient, can operate in a wide range of pressure and require minimum pressure difference to suck in air or ozone.<\/p>\n<p>Both liquid-gas and liquid-liquid systems may be used. By the inlet pressure the models are divided into low pressure (0,35-3,52 bar) and high pressure (4,22-8,44 bar) injectors. Depending on the back pressure different amounts of gas or liquid are sucked in.
