For oxidation of Fe<sup>2+<\/sup>\u00a0and Mn<sup>2+<\/sup>\u00a0correspondingly to trivalent iron hydroxide and quadrivalent manganese dioxide, oxygen must be injected. Stoichiometrical amounts of oxygen are: 0,14 mgO<sub>2<\/sub>\/mg Fe<sup>2+<\/sup>\u00a0and 0,29 mgO<sub>2<\/sub>\/mg Mn<sup>2+<\/sup>.
