The task of the patented highly efficient aerator-stripper GDT (Gas-Degas Technology) is to enrich groundwater under pressure with oxygen of air for iron/manganese removal. Oxygen of air is a widely used well-known oxidant for iron, manganese and sulfides removal.

The GDT aerator also enables to get quickly rid of dissolved gases such as hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, radon etc. GDT can also be used for ozone efficient mixing with water. In this case instead of air ozone is introduced into the injector.

The GDT consists of injector, degassing separator and degas relief valve.

In Fig. 1 the principal scheme of the GDT is presented.
